PDF is for printing, without fillable fields. Word tables are editable; neither format calculates totals. Excel: eight lines, CAD only. Quantities: 0–10,000, up to three decimals. Rates: 0–10,000, up to two decimals. Each line rounds half up to cents. No tax, discounts, shipping, deposits or payment balance calculations. Review inputs and totals.

A practical example
Fictional example. Replace the details and rates before use. CAD rates are illustrations, not price recommendations.
| Description | Quantity | Unit | Rate (CAD) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard home cleaning - fictional example | 1 | visit | 0 |
| Oven cleaning add-on - fictional example | 1 | item | 0 |
What to fill in
- Identify the property by an agreed reference and list the visit dates.
- Describe included rooms and separately approved extras; do not imply scheduled recurring billing.
Distinguish a routine clean from a deeper visit
Describe the rooms and tasks covered by the booked clean. A move-out clean, an initial deep clean and regular upkeep may have different scopes even at the same address. Identify the service actually completed rather than using one generic “cleaning” label for all three.
Keep extras outside an inclusive visit
If oven cleaning or inside-cabinet work sits outside the booked package, name that extra task separately. For time-based work, clarify whether the entered hours are total cleaner-hours or elapsed crew time; use the rate agreed for that same basis.
House cleaning invoice questions
What if some booked rooms were not cleaned?
Describe the scope actually completed and use the charge agreed for that visit. Do not leave uncompleted rooms in the description as though they were serviced.
Can I charge for selected rooms?
Yes. Name the rooms or agreed scope in the description and use the unit your customer agreed to.
How do I show supplies?
Add a supplies row only if separately agreed; otherwise describe supplies as included in the cleaning scope.
