A practical example
Fictional example. Replace the details and rates before use. CAD rates are illustrations, not price recommendations.
| Description | Quantity | Unit | Rate (CAD) |

| Driveway surface washing - fictional example | 1 | square metre | 0 |
| Patio washing - fictional example | 1 | square metre | 0 |
What to fill in
- Name the surface and use a consistent measured area unit.
- Describe preparation and separately agreed cleanup; do not imply a condition guarantee.
Name the surface as well as its size
A concrete driveway and a paved patio are different work areas. Give each its own measured area and describe the completed washing scope. Keep square metres and square feet consistent with the quoted rate instead of mixing labels on one invoice.
Separate cleaning from other surface work
Moving items, preparing the area, removing debris and sealing can be different parts of a job. State what the washing price includes, then add only separately agreed tasks. Cleaning alone should not read as though a sealing or restoration service was also supplied.
Pressure washing invoice questions
Can I bill by area?
Yes. Enter your measured area as quantity and name the area unit; the editor does not measure surfaces.
Can I add sealing to the same invoice?
Yes, if separately agreed and supplied. Use a distinct sealing row or describe it within an inclusive package so a washing charge alone does not imply sealing.
Where do preparation charges belong?
Add an agreed preparation row or describe preparation as included in the surface charge.
